Service Description

The KARIOS Blanket Exercise is an engaging, interactive experience that walks participants through the history of colonization in Canada. Created by KARIOS in response to the 1996 Royal Commission on Aboriginal Peoples report and developed with guidance from Indigenous Elders and representatives, this exercise aims to raise awareness and foster understanding. We’ve been facilitating the Blanket Exercise for over five years and are deeply passionate about sharing Indigenous truths. If you haven’t yet had the chance to participate, we highly encourage you to do so! It's an excellent starting point for engaging with Truth and Reconciliation. We can bring the Blanket Exercise to businesses, non-profits, churches, schools, or any location you'd like to host.
